Join us for a student-alumni networking opportunity to kick off MD Reunion Weekend! This social hour will serve as a chance to connect with current MD students who are excited to meet you. Cookies and coffee will be served. Our students will want to hear about your varied experiences in the field of medicine, your specialty, and any advice you may have for their careers. The 15th Annual Miller Lecture will take place soon after this event, so we encourage you to stick around for that special presentation!

Please join us for the 15th Annual Frank N. Miller, MD '48, BS '43 Endowed Lecture delivered by Gail Lebovic, MD '86. his "fireside chat" style event will be moderated by Interim SMHS Dean Andrew Artenstein.
Dr. Gail Lebovic has committed her career to improving the delivery of women's healthcare, with a special interest in the diagnosis and treatment of patients with breast cancer. Internationally recognized for her groundbreaking work as an oncoplastic surgeon, Lebovic is also highly regarded as a creative innovator, visionary leader, and entrepreneur in the field of medical device development. She is a proud alumni of the MD Class of 1986.

Please join SMHS Interim Dean Andrew Artenstein and your fellow classmates for a cocktail reception, featuring refreshments and heavy hors d’oeuvres, kicking off the 2026 MD Reunion Weekend. Come together to reconnect with members of your class year, fellow MD alumni, and SMHS leadership and faculty.

9:30-10:00, Ross Hall 101
A complimentary breakfast will be offered in Ross 101 ahead of Dean Artenstein’s State of the School presentation. Breakfast will be offered beginning at 9:30 with the presentation beginning promptly at 10:00. Guests can expect a continental type spread, with pastries, yogurt parfaits, fruit cups, and beverages.

SMHS Interim Dean Andrew Artenstein will share updates about the GW medical enterprise and take questions from alumni.

10:45-11:45, Ross Hall 101
How is the GW SMHS MD program preparing physicians to meet the challenges of modern medicine? Join us to hear from SMHS leadership, faculty, and students who are advancing our missions with skill, empathy, compassion, and resilience. This session will feature 5 to 10 minute “lightning round” talks to highlight how today's MD educational experience is uniquely positioned to train the next generation of talented physician citizens.

11:45-1:00
Current GW Med students will give alumni tours of the medical school facilities and show what it is like to be a GW Med student in 2026.

1:00- 3:00, Ross Hall
The Class of 1976 and the Class of 1996 are planning a Class Lunch and Class Meeting, respectively, on the afternoon of Saturday, November 7th at 1:00 pm. It is an opportunity for members of each of these classes to catch up on what they have been up to since the last time they have been able to get together. Lunch will be provided for a small additional fee.

6:00-8:30, The Fairmont Hotel
Meet back at The Fairmont for a cocktail hour and passed hors d'oeuvres in the Ballroom that will lead directly into the Class Dinners. Your class photo will also be taken during the Class Dinners. Dessert to follow.
